Catron woman celebrates 100th birthday

Friends and family gathered April 27 at Catron to celebrate Erma Pfeffer's 100th birthday. Born on April 25, 1924, in Gun Town, Miss., Mrs. Pfeffer has lived in rural Southeast Missouri most of her life. Joining her at her party were her son, John Pfeffer, and daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Gary Carter. Mrs. Pfeffer also has five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
