SHS/SPS Foundation Students of the Month for May named

SIKESTON — Rush Ault and Colt Parker were named Sikeston High School Students of the Month for May.

Sikeston Public Schools Foundation, which sponsors the monthly program, names two seniors each month for the honor during the 2023-2024 school year. Students also receive a certificate and gift card from the Foundation.

Ault, who is the son of Nathan aand Becky Ault, participates in baseball, soccer, National Honors Society (president), Student Council, Key Club, FCA, DECA, FBLA, Link Crew, Inspired and ASTRA. In his spare time, he enjoys working and hanging with friends and family, watching movies, listening to music, reading books and playing video games.

Parker is the son of Laura Parker and Chad Parker. His extracurricular activities include: Lincoln League coaching, Food Bank volunteer, DECA, football, baseball, National Honors Society, Student Council, Bleacher Bums, Key Club, Youth Advisory Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and SOAR. His hobbies include fishing, watching football, playing guitar, working out, hunting and driving.
