Local students make their respective university’s academic honors lists

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. — Truman State University has released its academic honor rolls for the spring 2024 semester.

Evie Hunter of New Madrid, Missouri, made the Vice President for Academic Affairs’ List, which features students with a grade point average between 3.50-3.99

To qualify for the list, a student must be an undergraduate and complete at least 12 hours of credit during the semester.

Hampshire University

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) announced the following students to the winter 2024 Dean’s List. The winter terms run from January to May.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

Union University

JACKSON, Tenn. – Two Sikeston, Missouri, residents are among 367 students who have been named to the Union University Dean’s List for the spring 2024 semester.

Austin Crawford and Catherine Hester of Sikeston were named to the dean’s list.

The Dean’s List includes full-time students who achieve a 3.5 grade point average on a four-point scale. 

Founded in 1823 and affiliated with the Tennessee Baptist Convention, Union University is characterized by quality Christ-centered teaching and learning. Union offers liberal arts training in more than 100 majors and programs of study along with professional programs in business, education and nursing.

Belmont University

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Belmont University recently released the Dean’s List for the spring 2024 semester. Approximately 44% of the University’s 7,338 undergraduate students qualified for the spring 2024 Dean’s List.

Local students making the Dean’s List are Kaylie Holt of Bernie, Missouri, and Emily Pyle of Dexter, Missouri.

Dean’s List eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.
