The Juneteenth Festival was celebrated Saturday, June 15 at Lincoln Memorial Park in Sikeston and featured a live band, horses, food and entertaintment.
The Black Excellence Ball was also held Friday, June 14 at The Copper Still Lounge in Sikeston, and a “gospel explosion” was planned in the afternoon on Sunday, June 16 at the park.
Children have fun playing in the foam at the park for the Juneteenth Festival.
