Moran honored with Lieutenant Governor Senior Service Award

SIKESTON — Sikeston resident and veteran Blair Moran recently received the 2024 Lieutenant Governor Senior Service Award.

“It was an honor to surprise my friend, Blair Moran, with a 2024 Lieutenant Governor Senior Service Award during The American Legion Department of Missouri Annual Convention over the weekend in St. Louis,” said Lt. Gov. Mike Kehoe.

Moran served as a combat infantryman in both Vietnam and Cambodia with the 25th Infantry Division. Over the last 30 years, he has dedicated much of his time to numerous veteran organizations throughout the Sikeston community and the state.

“Thank you for your service and congratulations,” Kehoe said.

No more a deserving person than Blair Moran. So much has he given to our community and our state. A great guy and a great friend.
