EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Angelia Ann O’Guin Winfield, age 60, of East Prairie died Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Born July 8, 1964, at East Prairie, to the late Eugene O’Guin and Shirley Ann Ashley O’Guin, she was a 1983 graduate of East Prairie High School and had lived in East Prairie her entire life. For a number of years, she worked at as Certified Nurse’s Aide and Private-Duty Nurse and later with the Head Start program for many years. She attended Full Gospel Church.

She was married to William “Willie” Winfield, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are her children, Alex Eugene (Casey Louis Cozart) Turner of Dallas, Texas, and Alton Christopher (Alexis Favelle) Turner of Paducah, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Tra’von Turner, Aden Turner and Allie Turner; her brothers, David (Kathy) O’Guin of East Prairie, James O'Guin of Wyatt, Missouri, and Donald (Linda) O’Guin of Mesa, Arizona; her adopted sister, Becky Miller of East Prairie; also, a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Keith Franklin O’Guin and Thomas Brian O’Guin; and her sister, Shirley Jean O’Guin.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024, at the Full Gospel Church, 514 N. Garfield St., East Prairie. Tony Jones will officiate.

McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
