Joan Hutson
BERTRAND, Mo. — Joan Ellen Bagby Hutson, age 81, passed away on Sept. 5, 2024, at the Bertrand Nursing and Rehab Center in Bertrand.
She was born on Nov. 10, 1942, in Sikeston, Missouri, to the late Joseph Woodrow Sr. and Pearl O. Hodges Bagby.
She is survived by one son, Richard Allen (Olivia) Smith of Benton, Missouri; three daughters, Lesia Ellen Smith (Joe) Thornton of Sikeston, Deborah Ann Smith of Bertrand and Cindy Kay Hutson (Randy) Chandler of Kevil, Kentucky; one brother, Joseph Woodrow Bagby Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; one half sister, Jill Bagby (Kevin) Kimball of Utah; 12 grandchildren, Joseph Charles (Nada) Thornton II, Samantha Ellen Thornton Pullen, Allen Ross (Aubree) Smith, Andrew Chase Smith, Lacey Renee Smith, Stefanie Nicole Woodruff (Nick) Spears, Victoria Helen Woodruff (Steve) Woollums, Erica Sue Garner (Justin) Mathis, Elizabeth Faye Sager, Rebecca Leann Bellamy, Brandon Bellamy and Brain Bellamy and 23 great-grandchildren, Aubery Ellen Pullen, Andrew Martin Ross Pullen, Sophia Lily Thornton, Baby Boy Thornton, Corban Hayes Shelby, Lyla Grace Smith, Reed Lawson Smith, Sabrina Anne Nicole Woollums, Cody Ray Woollums, Mason Daneil Woollums, Randy James Woollums, Gena Kay Woollums, Kylee Marie Spears, Adalynn Grace Spears, Ryan Alexandra Pearson, Reed Andrew Pearson, Rhett Allen Pearson, Declan Scott Spears, Kimberly June Mathis, Opie Wayne Mathis, Otis Wade Mathis, Clara Jean Mathis, Izaak Mathis and Rylaan Mathis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Pamela Sue Hutson Bellamy; and one half brother, Jefferson Craig Bagby.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024, from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
