Sikeston Jaycee speaks at governor’s conference

Sikeston Jaycee Clay Driskill who served as the 2024 Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo General Chairman, gives a presentation about the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, at the Missouri Governor’s Conference on Economic Development in St. Louis, Missouri. Driskill spoke about how the rodeo generates over $8 million and attracts 40,000 people during the annual four-day community event as part of “Sports Tourism as an Economic Development Engine” session of the conference.
