Tennie Glick
JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. — Tennie Hulen Glick passed away on Monday, Sept. 2, 2024, at home in Jeffersonville surrounded by her children. She was born on July 29, 1936, in Savannah, Tennessee, to the late James and Fleecy Hulen.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Loyal Glick; and her/our brothers, James "Bud" Hulen, Wallace Hosey, Robert Hosey, Vernon Hosey; and her sister, Elizabeth Gates.
Tennie is survived by her daughter; Angela Bass; son, Phillip Glick; grandsons, Brett and Blake Bass; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bobbie Spurlin and Jane McCain; and many nieces and nephews.
She was a faithful member of Christ Gospel Church Jeffersonville for 60 years and a valued employee there for 34 years. She was a godly lady who loved the Lord and lived an exemplary life of always sharing Christ’s love with others. Now that Tennie has passed into the arms of our Lord, her physical life on Earth is over but it is the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her. She is greatly missed but we look forward to joining her soon in the Regions of the Great Beyond.
Services were conducted Sept. 10 at Christ Gospel Church Chapel in Jeffersonville.
Burial followed in the Walnut Ridge Cemetery at Jeffersonville.
