On Wednesday, Sept. 18 personnel with the City of Sikeston repaired rope/lanyards to the Veterans Park flag poles which were damaged from the EF3 tornado May 26 in Sikeston. Months later, work throughout the city continues at homes, businesses and parks to replace structures and items damaged from the tornado.
