Shirley Schwab
SHREVEPORT, La. — Shirley Ann Schwab, 83, was born in northeast Arkansas on Sept. 27, 1940, and passed away at home on Sept. 6, 2024.
Funeral services for Shirley will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 211 Atlantic St., Shreveport. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Road, in Keithville, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Monsignor Earl Provenza.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 66 years, Colonel (Dr.) Edward Schwab, USAF Ret., two sons, Lt. Colonel Craig Schwab, living in Fort Walton, Florida, and Keith Schwab, living in Monroe, Louisiana; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Morris of Sikeston, Missouri; and several nephews and nieces.
The family requests donations may be made to the donor’s favorite charity or the family’s favorite, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in Memphis, Tennessee.
