More tariffs

Trump has called for 100% additional tariffs on cars made in Mexico and 200% tariffs on John Deere equipment made in Mexico. Who will be able to afford to own a car or run a farm? We are already  paying a fortune for our cars (steel and aluminum), housing (lumber), commodities, foods, cotton, soybeans, etc.) from when he was last elected. He also wants to cut taxes on the rich.

Price prediction

Looks like chicken and egg prices are going sky high again. Increases in bird flu, salmonella and now hundreds of bird farms located in the hurricane and floods from Helene have reportedly been destroyed.

Debate observations

After watching the vice presidential debate, I was impressed with how J.D. Vance spoke. Only problem was, who was he talking about? I can’t associate Trump with the person Vance tried to represent. No winners here.

Turn on lights

Yes, it’s Friday, 11 p.m. It’s raining hard as can be here in Sikeston. To show how dumb people are, driving without their lights on, that’s how they get rear-ended. That’s how they get run over and that’s what causes wrecks because people is too lazy to move their left hand and turn the switch on. That’s poor service, but that’s what causes wrecks. It’s a shame.
