Linda Williamson
SIKESTON — Linda Kay (Pearson) Williamson was called home to rest in God's loving arms on Oct. 1, 2024. She was born in Commerce, Missouri, on July 27, 1949, to the late Woodrow and Lillie Mae (Allen) Pearson.
Linda graduated from Kelly High School in Benton, Missouri. She became a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1973 and then continued her education to become a Registered Nurse as she worked and raised her family. She graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, in 1984.
She worked at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston for 45 years in addition to multiple extended care facilities throughout the community. She served as the house supervisor for many years before she retired from Missouri Delta Medical Center in 2018. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Sikeston. She was presented a key to the city of Sikeston by The Daughters of Sunset, a non-profit organization based in Sikeston that focuses on community service. She was preceded in death by five siblings, Earnest Pearson, Evelyn (Sam) Pearson-Brown, Floyd (Pauline) Pearson, Bob (Tawanna) Pearson and Lonnie Pearson.
