SIKESTON — The supermoon is seen Friday night, Oct. 18 in Sikeston. The moon was 222,055 miles away Wednesday night, Oct. 17, making it seem even bigger and brighter than the August and September supermoons. It reached its full lunar phase on Thursday, Oct. 17, but it remained very visible Friday night. The fourth and final supermoon of the year will rise on Nov. 15.
