SIKESTON — Southeast Missouri Christian Academy in Sikeston had some special visitors Friday, Oct. 18.

Drs. Ross and Allison Sindle are the owners of SEMO Cattle Company in Sikeston, and their daughter, Reese, attends the school. The couple talked to students about about calves, how they grow and what they eat. They also showed how some calves are fed with big bottles and explained how cows get shots and medicine just like children do. The students were able to see calf bottles and a cattle chute. They were also able to meet and pet a baby calf and got their own toy cows to take home.

It was a fun day learning about cattle farming, according to SEMO Christian students and staff.
