Michael Turner
SIKESTON — Michael Anthony Turner, age 68, passed away on Nov. 6, 2024, at his home in Sikeston.
He was born on April 9, 1956, in Garden City, Michigan, to the late Bruce and Reva Cooksey Turner Sr.
On Aug. 8, 1992, in Sikeston, he married Mary Ellen Griner Turner who preceded him in death on Jan. 1, 2012.
He is survived by one son, Thomas (Anthony) Swann of Sikeston; three daughters, Shawna Hunsperger of Vanduser, Missouri; Katina (Ricky) Cooksey of Stantonville, Tennessee; and Connie Swann of Sikeston; one brother, Bruce Turner of Sikeston; one sister, Sharon Washer of Benton, Missouri; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by five brothers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, from noon until time of memorial service at 1 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston with Brother Dennis Lowe, pastor of Unity Baptist Church in Benton, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.
