Leaf collection program begins in Sikeston

SIKESTON — The City of Sikeston’s Annual Leaf Collection Program begins Tuesday, Nov. 12.

Zones 1 and 2 will be picked up Nov. 12-15; Zones 3 and 4 will be picked up Nov. 18-22; Zone 5 will be picked up Nov. 25-27; Zone 6 will be picked up Dec. 2-6; and Zones 7 and 8 will be picked up Dec. 9-13.

Beginning Dec. 16-31, the truck will pick up leaves by appointment only (excluding holidays). Appointments can be made by calling 573-475-3732.

— Only leaves should be in the piles. No sticks are allowed.

— All leaves must be placed off of the curb and no further than 6 feet of the curb.

— No bagged leaves will be accepted.
