Wanda Williams
WYATT, Mo. — Wanda Sue Aday Williams, age 82, passed away Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at her home in Wyatt.
She was born March 2, 1942, in Sikeston, Missouri, to the late Jonas Alvie Aday and Myrtie Thomas Aday. Wanda was a licensed CNA. Earlier in her career she worked at nursing homes and later in home healthcare. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards with her friends and watching her children play sports when they were young.
She was first married to Kenneth Ganus, who preceded her in death. She later married Rayburn Williams, who also preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Earl Ganus, Terry Lee Ganus and Victor Lewis Ganus; two daughters, Mona Linley and Barbra Peterson; one brother, Roger Aday; two sisters, Doris Simmons and Debra Vipond; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Wanda was preceded in death by one son, Jefferie Allen Ganus; three brothers, Paul Aday, Melvin Aday and Joe Aday; and two sisters, Betty Sickling and Geraldine Brand.
Private services will be held at a later date.
