Pedestrian killed in Southeast Missouri

FISK, Mo. — A pedestrian was killed shortly after 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 in a one-vehicle accident on Highway 60, two miles west of Fisk.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 37-year-old Scott City man, Missouri, was walking eastbound when he was struck by a 2012 Freightliner Cascadia. The driver of the Cascadia is from Onley, Illinois.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:50 a.m. by emergency medical personnel.
He is the 60th fatality for Troop E this year.
No names were released by the patrol.
