A tropical parade

Santa and Mrs. Claus were joined by this year's parade marshal Larry Rost in bringing the 2024 New Madrid Christmas parade to a close on Sunday, Dec. 15.

New Madrid's annual Christmas parade was delayed a day by rain but on Sunday, Dec. 15, the temperatures warmed providing a perfect evening to take in the event. This year's theme was a tropical Christmas. For more photos see the Standard Democrat's photo gallery.
