Braidy Young, daughter of Janna Shelby and the late Justin Young, is the Standard Democrat’s Calendar Girl for January. Young, who is the 2024 Miss Sikeston Queen, is a senior at Sikeston High School. After high school, she plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University where she will major in nursing and become a registered nurse.
