BERNIE -- Pat Cross, 83, died Dec. 25, 2011, at his home in Bernie. Born Sept. 8, 1928, in Bernie, son of the late James Thomas and Viola Gann Cross, he lived most of his life in Bernie. He and his family lived for 20 years in Chicago where he worked for Meyers Material. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers.
