PUXICO -- Bobby Lee Cowart, 68, died Feb. 8, 2013, at the Puxico Nursing and Rehab Center. Born Aug. 21, 1944, in St. Louis, to the late Raymond and Alberta Mitchell Cowart, he had lived most of his life in the Dexter area where he worked in agriculture...

SIKESTON -- Elizabeth Evangeline Cannon, 87, of Sikeston, died Feb. 8, 2013, at her son's home in Benton. Born Dec. 4, 1925, in Halls, Tenn., to the late Bryant and Myrtle Irene Riddick Young, she had been employed as a desk clerk by the Dunn Hotel in Sikeston and retired from the Sikeston Yellow Cab Company, where she was a dispatcher. She was an avid animal lover and St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed attending the Cardinal games. She was a member of the Morehouse Assembly of God Church...
