DARDENNE PRAIRIE, Mo. — Frances Ponder, 86, born June 20, 1935, in Waddy, Kentucky, to the late John William and Margaret Ann Cox Smith, passed away on Dec. 25, 2021, at the Barathaven Alzheimer Care Center in Dardenne Prairie. Survivors include: her husband, Harold Ponder of Dardenne Prairie; one son, Lonnie Ponder of Sikeston, Missouri; one daughter, Linda (Scott) Seal of Wentzville, Missouri; two brothers, James Smith of Simpsonville, Kentucky, Jerry Smith of Taylorville, Kentucky; one sister, Anna Mae Gibson of Havelock, North Carolina; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.. ...

SIKESTON — Marilynn Gail Grogan, age 67, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021, at her home near Sikeston. She was born Feb. 18, 1954, at St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Robert Wesley Cooper Sr. and Mary Lee Summerlott Cooper.
