The first fall festival hosted by Sikeston R-6 Transportation Department staff members was such a success, they are bringing it back again this year with promises to offer even more.

The Lee Hunter Elementary PTO in Sikeston conducted a pumpkin decorating contest, which awarded prizes for top three highest donations as well as spookiest, most “boo-tiful” and best character. Other Sikeston R-6 schools such as the Kindergarten and Early Childhood Center, Wing Elementary and Southeast Elementary also have pumpkin decorating contests underway this week...

SIKESTON — Geraldine Buckley, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2022, at her home in Sikeston. She was born in Clarkton, Missouri, on Dec. 10, 1941, to the late Burt D. and Thelma Hamm Starr.

SIKESTON — Tommy O. Fraser, age 83, passed away on Oct. 27, 2022, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. He was born on Aug. 17, 1939, in Hayti, Missouri, to the late Tommy and Virginia Fowler Fraser.
