Speakout
(Opinion ~ 11/05/22)
On Oct. 14, Friday’s edition of the Standard Democrat, I can see where left wing liberalism is working it’s way into our local schools like it is in other parts of the country. In the article, “R-6 board approves part of district’s strategic plan,” on page 15 of the article, it uses the word “equity” twice. Equity means you show a preference for some races over other races. For example, you show a preference of Black people over white people. That’s equity and that’s unconstitutional. Equity and equality are two different things. Equality is good but equity is bad because you are showing a preference of one race of people over another race of people. It’s on page 15 of the article, “R-6 board approves part of district’s strategic plan.” Equity is wrong. It should not be used in our local school system.
