SIKESTON — Due to the threat of incoming weather, Sikeston High School’s graduation ceremony for Monday, May 13 has been moved indoors to the Sikeston Fieldhouse, the district announced early Saturday, May 11. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for graduation, and the ceremony will start at 7 p.m. Only individuals with a ticket will be able to enter the Fieldhouse. No outside food, drink, flowers or balloons will be allowed...

Almost all immigrants (legal or non-legal) coming to the United States are seeking a better life for themselves and their families. Trump and his misled followers have been telling you all immigrants are criminals and drug smugglers. This is so false. My family and yours were once immigrates seeking a new life for themselves and their families. I agree we need better border laws and security to control and regulate immigration. We need politicians working as a team to make this a better country. We don’t need the hate and division currently being expressed in our political arenas.
