Traffic stop leads to arrest of Illinois man on drug trafficking charges

CHARLESTON, Mo. A weekend traffic stop in Charleston resulted in the arrest of an Illinois man on drug trafficking charges. On the morning of Aug. 17, our agency was notified of a possible stolen vehicle by the Flock license plate reader system, said Charleston Department of Public Safety Director Robert E. Hearnes.
