Speakout
(Opinion ~ 09/16/20)
On Pine Street, in front of the high school in Sikeston, the speed limit is 20 mph not 60 mph. As I sit in my car waiting for my child cars are rushing by. How hard is it for the police to just maybe drive down Pine to show that they care? In the past few weeks in the paper there have been only five speeding tickets for city court. I’m sure at least 12 cars are speeding on Pine from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
