Republican Headquarters in Sikeston at 502 S. Kingshighway has a sign out front of the building. Those of us in the group decided that one of the things we really wanted to put on the sign was to ask people to pray for people to pray for people in Afghanistan that were in such terrible trouble. We didn’t feel like that sign would have anything to do with politics at all, rather reminding everyone that all of us need to pray for those people stuck in Afghanistan. Someone came by and stole all the letters from the sign. I guess they thought it was political. We’re so sorry for that.

Scott County highest in state for case rate, but dropping

Carter County man arrested for 1987 murder
