CARUTHERSVILLE, Mo. — A death investigation is underway at the Pemiscot County Jail following an inmate’s death late Friday. According to Pemiscot County Sheriff Tommy Greenwell, the inmate, John Deloach, 30, of East Prairie was found unresponsive at 11:51 p.m. Friday by jail staff. Deloach was being held for New Madrid County.

CHARLESTON, Mo. — A Charleston woman was killed and a man injured in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday in Mississippi County.
