SIKESTON — Harold Vernon "Sugar Man" Cline, age 79, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Born Nov. 4, 1940, in Sikeston, son of the late Ned and Zona Sanders Cline, he attended the First Church of the Nazarene and was employed by Harts and Lewis Brothers Bakery for over 27 years.

DIEHLSTADT, Mo. — Laney Michael Miller, 65, died March 27, 2020, at his home in Diehlstadt. Born Oct. 31, 1954, at Wyatt, son of the late J.W. Miller and Evelyn Johnson Miller, he had lived in Diehlstadt his entire life. He was a 1973 graduate of Kelly High School and had been employed by Monsanto at Matthews.
