CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – A Sikeston, Missouri, man was sentenced on Wednesday to prison on an illegal gun possession charge. Dwayne Harris, 30, of Sikeston was sentenced to serve five years in federal prison following his guilty plea to being a previously convicted felon in possession of a firearm, according to the United States Attorney’s Office. SIKESTON — Deloris Kay Crocker, age 50, passed away on Oct. 18, 2021, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was born on Oct. 15, 1971, in Dexter, Missouri, to the late Don and Deloris McCoy Bewley. On Oct. 11, 2008, in Cape Girardeau, MO. she married Travis Crocker who survives of the home in Sikeston.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served during the Korean War, a member of the V.F.W., and had worked as an Insurance Adjuster for Farm Bureau before retiring...
