SIKESTON — The Sikeston Jersey Mike’s, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in January and held a fundraiser for the Sikeston-based Kenny Rogers Children’s Center (KRCC) during its first four days of business. From Jan. 11-15, franchise owner JMS Restaurants LLC honored coupons allowing guests to donate $3 to the KRCC and receive a free regular sub. Five thousand coupons were distributed throughout Sikeston using a grassroots effort. The donations helped raise $2,685.92 for the KRCC.. ...
