Woman charged with sexual misconduct

NEW MADRID, Mo - On May 20, a woman brought her daughter to the police department and reported that someone was sending her daughter lewd photos.
The suspect, an adult female, was attempting to get property from her ex-boyfriend by sending lewd photos of the man to different people, including the teenage girl. Officers found the woman and she admitted that she sent the photos.
She was placed under arrest and later charged with sexual misconduct. The woman bonded out of jail a short time later, but within a few days she had violated the conditions of her bond by contacting the victim in the case.
A new warrant was issued for the bond violation and she was arrested again on June 7. She is currently in jail awaiting her next court appearance.
