KEVIL, Ky. -- Lula M. "Lou" Jones, 76, died Sept. 2, 2012, at her home. Born Oct. 7, 1935, in Risco, to the late David and Neoma Kinsey Faries, she moved from Missouri to McCracken County where she lived for 30 years. She was a member of Miner Baptist Church in Miner, Mo., and attended Newton Creek Baptist Church in Kevil where she was a member of the choir. DEXTER -- The Rev. William "Bill" Pitts Sr., 71, died Sept. 3, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Dexter. Born Aug. 16, 1941, at Oklahoma City, Okla., son of Ruby Tunnell Pitts of El Reno, Okla., and the late James Robert Pitts Sr., he was a minister in the Assembly Of God Church for 41 years pastoring churches in Missouri, Texas and Oklahoma.
