Sikeston DPS investigating shooting

The Sikeston Department of Public Safety is investigating a shooting that took place at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on Mary Street in Sikeston. The male victim was taken to a local hospital after being shot three times; he was treated and released early Wednesday, according to Sikeston DPS. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
