Morehouse fire

Smoke was spotted coming from the former parsonage of the Morehouse Rauch Spence Memorial United Methodist Church about 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Morehouse Fire Department along with the Sikeston Department of Public Safety responded to the fire at the residence, which was being rented by Laura Myers. No one was home at the time the fire began, however, fire personnel were able to free a dog trapped inside. No injuries were reported. Further details were not available as of press time...
