Corn We finally got a bullish USDA report. Yesterday USDA released the September 1 quarterly stocks report. Stocks were projected at 2.114 billion bushels 314 million bushels below the pre-report trade guess. The September 1 stocks represent the ending stocks for the 2018-19 marketing year and the beginning stocks for the 2019-20 marketing year. The 2.114 billion bushels were 331 million less than the September 12 ending stocks for 2018-19. USDA will tell us in the October 10 monthly supply and demand report if the lower stocks are based on more demand or a smaller crop from the previous year. . ...
