EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Sidney Harold Drummond, 85, died Sept. 5, 2019, at East Prairie Nursing Center. Born May 17, 1934, at East Prairie, son of the late Thurston Bradley Drummond and Minnie Maude True Drummond, he was a 1952 graduate of East Prairie High School. He had lived in East Prairie his entire life where he had served as an alderman and police judge and was a member of the James Bayou Catfish Cookers. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army and then the U.S. Navy, and had been employed with Noranda until his retirement in 1998. He was a member of V.F.W. and had attended the Charleston Church of Christ.
