Born Aug. 28, 1934, near Chaffee, to the late Anton and Agnes Enderle Welter, she was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee. Survivors include: two brothers and sisters-in-law, Anthony "Tony" and Phyllis Welter of Scott City and Franklin and Linda Welter of Chaffee; six nieces and nephews; and 12 great-nieces and nephews...

Born July 31, 1928, in Mississippi County, to the late Rudolph and Alice Tanner Adkisson, he lived most of his life in East Prairie where he was a member of the First Christian Church. He was a retired federal grain inspector and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. "Near red flag atmospheric conditions will become established this afternoon with south to southwest winds picking up into the 13-17 mph range," according to the weather service.
