EAST PRAIRIE - The Dorena-Hickman Ferry resumed operation Wednesday. The ferry has been closed since the morning of June 23 due to low water on the Mississippi River. SIKESTON - While the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo raises money which goes back into the community, there is another special fundraiser connected to the rodeo. On Friday, the Sikeston Jaycees will again host a golf tournament with proceeds going to the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund. ...
