GRAND RIVERS, Ky. -- Bruce Larkins, 86, formerly of Dorena, Mo., died at 7:20 p.m. Feb. 18, 2013, in the East Prairie Nursing Center. A graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday in the Dogwood Cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted by the Missouri Funeral Honors Program...

DEXTER -- Donald Lee Baker, 81, died March 7, 2013, at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter. Born Aug. 24, 1931, in Dexter, to the late Roland T. and Helen Marie Winnegar Baker, he had lived most of his life in Bernie, where he had worked at IXL Handle for many years and attended the Corner Gospel Fellowship Church...

NEW MADRID -- Charles Taylor, 67, died Feb. 26, 2013, in Chicago. He was born April 12, 1945, in Greenwood, Miss., son of the late Louis Taylor Sr. and Mattie Anthony Taylor. Survivors include: one son, Charles Taylor Jr.; three daughters, Cynthia Williams, Arie Taylor and Shavonne Taylor; one brother, William Taylor; one sister, Marie Garrett; and 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren...

MARBLE HILL -- Kristie Jany, 41, died March 6, 2013, at her home. Born Oct. 19 1971, in Cape Girardeau, she was the daughter of Velma Kay Miller Sontag of Marble Hill. She had lived in Dexter before moving to Marble Hill and was of the Baptist belief...

NEW MADRID -- Dilmos Young, 90, died March 5, 2013, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Born Nov. 28, 1922, in Doublesprings, Ala., to the late Lizzie Peppers Young and Wiley Brantley Young, he was a member of the New Madrid Baptist Church and also belonged to the Kiwanis Club. He had worked as a farmer, landscaper and car salesman...
