Moving to serve God in Alaska

As some of you know, my family and I are moving to serve God in Akutan, Alaska. This will be my final article for the immediate future as we will not have good access to the internet in our new area.

I want to express to everyone in the Sikeston community so much thankfulness for your support for the article over the last few years. Further, the Standard Democrat has been above and beyond incredible to allow me to write this article. Through the article I have been blessed to grow as a columnist and appreciated sharing my life with you.

Here are five life verses that will change your life when applied:

5. “Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.” (Proverbs 16:3)

4. 2 Corinthians 9:7 “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”

3. Ephesians 4:32- “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”

2. Hebrews 10:25- “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

1. John 3:36- “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

I hope that you will continue to grow in the Bible through your own personal study. May God bless you as you trust Jesus Christ and make Him known in Sikeston and beyond.
