The Green Memorial Church of God in Christ will provide a free Thanksgiving community dinner from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the church, located at 113 Clayton Ave. in Sikeston. BENTON -- Three Benton men were arrested in connection to several thousand dollars' worth of copper wire being stolen from a Scott County farmer. Mathew Bristow, 26, Jeffrey Bunch Jr., 23, and Michael Gunter, 20, were arrested after a short car chase Thursday night, according to a Scott County Sheriff's Department news release.
