Victory is the theme for 2021

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. -1 John 5:4

Victory is the theme of 2021 from 1 John 5:4 and every Christian can experience victory. The verse shares that this victory overcomes the world. What is in the world? The world would include the areas we are stressing about right now like the country’s division, big tech censorship, COVID etc.

We overcome the world by our faith in Jesus Christ. Let’s take a minute and think what that means. First, if our victory or our faith is of the world it will be insecure and weak as it is built on a world that changes.

Like all foundations, we want to build on a foundation that will not change and is strong. Christ is that foundation.

Let’s list three points that conclusively establish him as the secure foundation:

1. He conquered death and is 100% powerful. Revelation 1:18 18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

2. He never sinned and is 100% trustworthy! Hebrews 4:15 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with

the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

3. He is returning and is 100% hopeful! John 14:1-2 1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Today, make sure your faith is in him and you have the VICTORY!

Protect yourself: Make sure and do not give your personal information to anyone as there are many slick scammers. They target especially seniors. If you have someone call and want your personal information-hang up!
