Discussing the end of times
Many people are thinking and asking about the end times. The problem is when we try to decide about the end times without actually reading the verses that deal with the end time incorrect views results. What this leads to is an End Times understanding based on the news and events versus what is accurate in the Bible.
There is an end coming when Jesus Christ returns to judge the world.
“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.” (Revelation 1:7)
Before Jesus Returns he said there is something we should do.
“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.” Matthew 24:4.
This verse tells us not to be deceived or taken in by any person. The result when someone is deceived is they are worried and stressed about the End Times.
Let’s be frank, there is a ton of teaching on the end times and some is good, but mostly bad. The issue at hand is to learn the truth so to not be deceived.
The way you do this is by learning what the Bible specifically teaches about the end times.
If you are interested in this, you may come the next five Sunday evenings to First Baptist Church at 6 p.m. where I will be teaching a basic course of what the Bible teaches about the End Times.
Everyone will receive the lessons to study for themselves. The best decision you can do is make sure you truly are saved so you don’t have to worry about facing the End Times apart from God.
John 5:24 promises, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
